China's aerial work machinery manufacturing enterprises started in the 1970s and have a history of more than 30 years. So far, the number of domestic high-altitude machinery production enterprises has grown from 7 or 8 at that time to more than 100, of which 4 are joint ventures or cooperative production enterprises with foreign countries. Through the technological transformation in recent years, several backbone enterprises in the industry have continuously expanded their production scale and formed their own distinctive product series. The main economic indicators of the enterprises have gradually increased, and the economic benefits have also increased year by year. They can basically meet the needs of large, medium and small aerial working machinery in the domestic market, and some products are exported. According to the preliminary statistics of the association on member units, in 2005, China Gaoyang engineering group pointed out that the output of air operation platforms was 1734, and 150 were exported; In 2006, it was 1890 sets, and 290 sets were exported. In 2005, the output of aerial work vehicles was 672, and 20 were exported; In 2006, it was 778 sets and 69 sets were exported. According to the preliminary statistics, the total output value of the high-altitude machinery industry was 268.22 million yuan in 2005 and 326 million yuan in 2006. In the first half of 2007, the output value and export volume were close to the total of 2006. Although the domestic aerial work machinery has developed rapidly in recent years, the development of enterprises is very uneven, and there is a large gap between enterprises. Therefore, it is of great significance to analyze and discuss the current situation of the industry and the development of products

the development of aerial work machinery in China in recent years is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
(1) the number of varieties is increasing
10 years ago, China's aerial work platform products were mainly scissors (Figure 1), sleeve oil cylinder and other products, and the displacement of products was mainly by hand. With the development of national economy and urban construction, NCC is a comprehensive factory, the demand increases year by year, and new products of various specifications have increased rapidly in recent years. For example, Beijing Jingcheng heavy industry group has developed nearly 10 varieties and more than 30 specifications of products in just a few years, including single mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 2), double mast aluminum alloy platform, vehicle mounted scissor platform, scissor self-propelled platform (Figure 3), boom platform (Figure 4), box section aluminum alloy mast platform, spider aerial work platform, etc. Hangzhou Saiqi aerial work machinery Co., Ltd. has successively developed single mast aluminum alloy platform, double mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 5) and multi mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 6) in recent years. Among them, the multi mast aluminum alloy platform has completed the development of seven specifications, including 10m, 12M, 14m, 16m, 18m, 20m, 22m, Completed the development of vehicle mounted mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 7), self-propelled mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 8) and explosion-proof mast aluminum alloy platform (Figure 9). Zhejiang Dingli Machinery Co., Ltd. has completed the development of self-propelled single mast and self-propelled double mast aluminum alloy platforms and shear fork self-propelled platforms. Hangzhou Aichi Engineering Vehicle Co., Ltd. has developed a self-propelled aerial work platform driven by a full hydraulic chassis, which provides new products for the installation and maintenance projects of domestic shipbuilding, construction, airports and industrial and mining enterprises. In just a few years, it has successively developed more than 10 series of aerial work vehicles and completed insulated aerial work vehicles. Jinzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. has completed the development of 22m, 32m and 50m high altitude fire rescue vehicles in recent years. Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. has successively completed the development of 22m, 24m, 32m, 40m, 53m and 68m high altitude fire rescue vehicles (Figure 10). The above products were soon put on the market instead of imported products
(2) the product performance has been greatly improved
China's aerial work machinery products have developed many new products through learning, introducing and digesting foreign advanced technology. The technical level and product quality of their products have been continuously improved, reaching and approaching the level of similar international products. They are highly competitive in the domestic market, have good market sales, and their output has also increased rapidly. For example, Beijing Jingcheng heavy industry group has developed a scissor self-propelled platform and a box section aluminum alloy mast platform, of which the maximum operating height of a single mast of the box section aluminum alloy mast platform has reached 16.5m; Spider aerial work platforms of 22m, 25m and 30m have been developed. Hangzhou Saiqi aerial work machinery Co., Ltd. has achieved 22m multi mast aluminum alloy platform, and has developed explosion-proof mast aluminum alloy platform and self-propelled mast aluminum alloy platform, taking the lead in obtaining CE certification in domestic peers. The full hydraulic chassis driven self-propelled aerial work platform developed by Hangzhou Aichi Engineering Vehicle Co., Ltd. has a maximum working height of 26.7m; The insulated aerial work vehicle has been developed and completed. The working platform of the product can withstand voltage of 20kv/5min, the lining of the working platform can withstand voltage of 50kv/5min, and the insulation arm can withstand voltage of 100kV/1min. The above products have filled the gap of this type of products in China and reached the international advanced level. In addition, Hangzhou Aichi Engineering Vehicle Co., Ltd., Jinzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd., Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Dajiang industry (Group) Co., Ltd. have successively developed aerial fire fighting vehicles with a height of more than 30m. Among them, Jinzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. has completed the development of 50m high-altitude fire rescue vehicles, and Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. has completed the development of 53m and 68m high-altitude fire rescue vehicles, completely breaking the situation that domestic products above 30m can only rely on imports
(3) market share further expanded
some enterprises take advantage of their own advantages, based on the original products, according to the increase of domestic chassis varieties and the renewal of some basic parts, continue to strengthen the development of new products, and take the comprehensive development path of horizontal joint diversification of enterprises, which not only makes their own production and sales step into a virtuous circle, but also drives the sales development of affiliated enterprises and domestic related enterprises. For example, since Hangzhou garden machinery factory officially established a joint venture with Aichi company in Japan at the end of 1995, on the one hand, it has increased the upgrading and transformation of domestic products, on the other hand, it has continuously developed products suitable for the needs of domestic users by using Japan's advanced technology and management experience. In just a few years, the enterprise has more than 10 new products and occupies a large market share in small and medium-sized high-altitude operation vehicles, and some products are exported. Xuzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jinzhou Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. have successively developed high-altitude fire-fighting operation vehicles over 30m in response to the weak situation that domestic high-altitude fire-fighting and rescue operation vehicles rely on imports, which are deeply welcomed by domestic users and have achieved good economic and social benefits. Hangzhou Saiqi aerial work machinery Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Dingli Machinery Co., Ltd. have passed the European standard CE certification. The performance and quality of products have been continuously improved, and the export volume of products has been increasing in recent years. It can be said that the development of various products of the above backbone enterprises can basically meet the needs of the domestic market, occupy a large share in the domestic market, and also have a place in the international market
(4) complementary advantages have promoted the technological progress of the industry
some large and medium-sized enterprises in the domestic truck crane industry have developed many products in this industry in recent years by using their own technological and equipment advantages. For example, Jinzhou heavy machinery factory developed and completed the domestic high-altitude fire rescue vehicle with the maximum height of 50m in 1996, and Xuzhou Heavy also developed 53m and 68m high-altitude operation rescue vehicles. Beijing Jingcheng heavy industry group has developed aluminum alloy mast series aerial work platforms, self-propelled scissor platforms and spider arm folding platforms. The development of these enterprises' products has promoted the development of industrial technological progress
2 problems in the industry
the main problems in the industry in recent years are as follows:
(1) some enterprises have poor technological innovation ability. Some enterprises do not pay attention to the renewal of products and the development of new products. The products have been made for decades, with single varieties and specifications and narrow market business scope, which makes the product output of enterprises decline year by year and the enterprise benefit is poor
(2) special products are still mainly imported products. In recent years, foreign products have entered China one after another, such as bronto company in Finland, JLG, Genin, upright, snorkel, Skyjack and other companies in the United States, as well as some famous companies in Britain, Italy and Denmark, have set up offices in China, and still occupy the main domestic market in high-altitude products and special products, such as high-altitude insulated work vehicles, spider high-altitude work platforms There are still many gaps in domestic products, such as self-propelled aerial work platforms
(3) the supporting level of basic parts is poor. Domestic products have few basic parts supporting manufacturers, few specifications and varieties, and the supporting level is still poor. The performance and reliability of electrical components, hydraulic components and power components are not high, which also affects the development of domestic products
(4) low level of professional production. Most domestic enterprises mainly produce independently, with low professional production level, backward technology and low labor productivity
(5) there are many small workshop enterprises. Some small companies and small workshop enterprises have sprung up. For example, there are dozens of enterprises in Jiangsu and other places. These small enterprises have low output, poor quality and low price, which have seriously impacted and affected the normal market sales
3 problems to be solved in the development of aerial work machinery products
at present, there are many kinds and specifications of foreign aerial work machinery, which has formed a very large industry, and the international organization for Standardization (tc214) has been established. Looking at the International Construction Machinery Expo in recent 10 years, it can be clearly seen that aerial work machinery is a very large industry, and it is also a very large industry. Its general trend is: (1) committed to expanding the scope of operations to meet the needs of different operations. (2) The awareness of safety and environmental protection has been continuously improved. (3) The manufacturing of parts and components has further developed towards specialization, refinement and personalization. (4) Products are further intelligent.
